MAGICAL FOREST
Once upon a time, in a shimmering, frozen world where silver crystals sparkled like stars, a magical conversation unfolded between structure and fluidity. In this enchanting realm, two exquisite collections—Kinoko and Cartapesta—revealed the beauty of functional art.
Kinoko brings life to organic forms, elegantly interpreting mushrooms that integrate nature’s wonders, where elegance and playfulness intertwine. The “Sea Cucumber” glaze, rooted in Japanese ceramic artistry, adds depth to each piece.
As you venture deeper, discover Cartapesta, where papier-mâché and opulent granite create stunning contrasts. Here, fragility and strength unite in a graceful dance, inviting all who wander through to believe in the magic of imagination and beauty within.
Studio Bovti presented the Kinoko series in an expanded edition, featuring two new designs, as part of the Bespoke section. Alongside Kinoko, pieces from our other collections were showcased, highlighting the diversity of materials and craftsmanship. This curated selection not only emphasizes our dedication to material exploration but also creates an immersive atmosphere, inviting visitors to engage with the stories behind each piece.
Studio Bovti received a special mention from the jury.
Studio Bovti received recognition at the sixth edition of EDIT Napoli, where the most outstanding new designs were awarded. Curated by Emilia Petruccelli and Domitilla Dardi, the event highlighted exceptional design projects selected by a distinguished jury, including designer Elena Salmistraro, Gianmaria Pizzocheri (strategy project director at Dior), Dubai-based design expert Cyril Zammit, and Alessandro Valenti (editor-in-chief of Elledecor.it).
Studio Bovti's "Kinoko" coffee table received a special mention from the jury in the Seminar area, praised “for successfully blending innovation and tradition in a contemporary way.” The collection merges traditional craftsmanship with digital techniques, with Kinoko crafted from ceramic, plaster, and 3D printing. Each piece in the series reflects an organic growth process, embodying nature's evolution within a contained space.
On September 6, 2024, Bovti Studio presented its first solo exhibition at Galerie Sammlung Amann in Stuttgart. The event marked the official opening of the studio and the debut of its first collections. Together with artisans, friends, and clients, the studio celebrated this important milestone in its journey.
